Puffback Damage in Southampton House

This family’s Southampton home suffered from a fire damage caused by a puffback. A 'puffack' is an explosion of un-burned oil, taking place in the combustion chamber of the furnace, water heater or boiler. A puffback may radically damage the boiler, leading to soot spread all through the home.

It’s always a challenge when a family experiences any type of fire damage, but SERVPRO of The East End worked hard to clean and remediate the structure and contents.
